Presentation of an Outstanding Achievement Award to former long-term student Aimee Bryant.

Aimee's achievement, in her own words...........

"I never fully understood Maths while at school, but when I joined Bettermaths, i started to get an understanding of maths, which then led me to pass my GCSE in maths at college. This then let me go on to do a course that I have always wanted to do, level 3 Childcare, Without Bettermaths I wouldn't be able to do this course."

Bettermaths is proud to sponsor AFC Hiltingbury, by way of this banner at its home ground.

Bettermaths is run by Andrew Kuttner who has been involved with after-school maths tuition for over 15 years. This includes working in and as a franchisee (Instructor) of a Japan-based after-school educational provider.

He established Bettermaths to provide a child-centred, genuinely individual approach aimed at maximising attainment in maths in local schools.

His specialism is in aiding those children who struggle with maths. The Bettermaths course materials and methodology are aimed with them in  mind - potential high-achievers, especially younger ones, also greatly benefit from this approach.

Andrew is a member of NASEN (National Association for Special Educational Needs), ATM (Association of Teachers of Mathematics) and MA (Mathematical Association).
